The best thing about our Christmas stay at this hotel was the stunning views. The large windows in our room allowed us to connect with the beautiful landscape throughout our entire stay. It was truly breathtaking. Another thing we liked was the convenience of having food available without having to walk far. The restaurant at the hotel served delicious meals, and it was a great option for us during the holiday season. we really appreciated the opportunity to do our laundry before it piled up. The availability of a washing machine made it easy for us to clean our clothes and stay fresh during our stay.
There were a few aspects of our experience that we didn't particularly enjoy. the menu at the restaurant was not updated, which resulted in us paying more than expected.

Fantastic albergue with superb facilities, friendly service, great Brazilian-inspired meal, and breathtaking location. Thoughtful amenities for weary pilgrims. Unmatched experience, beats even hotels we've stayed at. Would return for a vacation, amazing value.

We had the most amazing stay at a charming albergue in Salas. The cozy atmosphere, clean rooms, and beautiful garden made our stay truly enjoyable. It was also a bonus that the staff spoke English, which was rare in this part of Spain. The location was perfect, right next to the Camino Primitivo. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
We did encounter a minor issue with the clothes dryer, but other than that, everything was perfect.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this albergue! the facilities were superb and the service was friendly and attentive. the owner, who is from Brazil, even included a delicious Brazilian beef dish in the pilgrim's menu, which was a nice touch. the location of the albergue was absolutely beautiful, and they have done a remarkable job of catering to the needs and wants of pilgrims. From the cozy and clean rooms to the spacious garden, every aspect of our stay was top-notch. We were also impressed by the staff's English-speaking abilities, which made communication much easier in this part of Spain. we couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this albergue to anyone, whether they are walking the Camino or simply looking for a relaxing vacation. Cons: Could not be improved in any way! 🌟.

The hotel's decoration is absolutely charming and reminiscent of a traditional Asturian home. The cozy sitting area with comfortable armchairs and beautiful artwork on the walls made me feel right at home. The hotel's accessibility for senior people was excellent, with wide hallways and handrails throughout the property. I was able to navigate easily and felt safe and supported during my stay.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is if the children working there could provide some assistance with luggage. Carrying heavy suitcases up the stairs can be challenging for older guests, and a helping hand would have been much appreciated.

I absolutely adored the beautiful decor at Albergue Casa Sueno. The attention to detail in the design made me feel like I was staying in a cozy, rustic home. The general areas of the hotel were also very inviting, with comfortable seating and plenty of space to relax and socialize. I especially appreciated how accessible the hotel was for senior people like myself. The layout was well-designed, with wide hallways and easy access to amenities, making my stay comfortable and convenient.
I would have loved if the children working there offered more organized activities for senior guests to enjoy.

Plus, the connection with the surrounding landscape was simply breathtaking. the large windows provide breathtaking views and plenty of natural light, making the rooms feel spacious and inviting. the friendly and helpful staff ensure a pleasant experience, and the restaurant offers delicious meals at a slightly higher price. You can also take advantage of convenient facilities such as a laundry room and enjoy the option of having food without having to walk far.
The bathroom lights automatically turn on at night and can be quite bright, which may be a slight inconvenience when using the facilities.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our city trip, being right next to the Camino Primitivo. It made it convenient for us to explore the city without having to travel far. The facilities at the hotel were superb, with spacious and clean rooms, and the separate building for the albergue provided a comfortable and peaceful stay. One of the best aspects was the restaurant, which offered delicious food that was worth the slightly higher price.
The hotel seemed to be letting in more people than allowed, which made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. there were inconsistencies with the billing process, as we were charged at the restaurant without receiving a receipt.

I recently stayed at a lovely albergue in Salas for my Camino Primitivo journey. The albergue, located next to the hotel, was clean, spacious, and had large windows that provided a beautiful connection with the surrounding landscape. The capacity was reduced to ensure a comfortable stay, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate groups of friends traveling together. The restaurant offered delicious food, albeit slightly more expensive, but definitely worth it. The owners' parents were managing the place and were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. I would highly recommend this albergue for its wonderful facilities and warm hospitality.
Strongly recommend this hotel.
